Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to the new academic year at Mangotsfield School.  It has been a pleasure to once again welcome students and their parent/carers into Year 7.  We also welcome our new sixth form students.  I am pleased to report that all students have made a great return to school and the new students are already settling in well.

We offer congratulations to our students in Year 11 who achieved the best ever Mangotsfield results this year, continuing the improving trend of recent years....

Academic Review Days - Tuesday 9th March and Thursday 11th March 2010

Structure of the Day for Years 7, 8, 10 and 11.

For Yrs 7, 8, 10 & 11

  • Registration                  As normal
  • Period 1                         As normal
  • Period 2                         As normal
  • Brunch                           10.50 – 11.20
  • Period 3                         11.20 – 12.20
  • Period 4                         12.20 – 1.20
  • Registration                  1.20 – 1.30
  • Buses will leave at 1.40                                                             

N.B. Year 9 students will have an afternoon session focussing on careers with their tutors. They will leave school as normal at 3:25pm - the normal buses will be available at this time.
