Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to the new academic year at Mangotsfield School.  It has been a pleasure to once again welcome students and their parent/carers into Year 7.  We also welcome our new sixth form students.  I am pleased to report that all students have made a great return to school and the new students are already settling in well.

Exam Success

We offer congratulations to our students in Year 11 who achieved the best ever Mangotsfield results this year, continuing the improving trend of recent years....

  • From the M4, leave at Junction 19 and take the M32 towards Bristol.
  • Immediately leave at Junction 1 (A4174)At the exit traffic lights, turn left onto the dual carriageway.
  • Continue on A4174 Ring Road, through next set of traffic lights.
  • At first roundabout, turn left, continuing on A4174 Ring Road.
  • Go straight on at second roundabout, remaining on Ring Road.
  • At third roundabout, turn right. You will pass a large Beefeater Inn as you exit.
  • Go straight across next roundabout and, at the traffic lights, turn left into Blackhorse Road.
  • Continue the full length of Blackhorse Road, eventually arriving at a T-junction opposite the Red Lion pub. You are now in Mangotsfield.
  • Turn left at T-junction. Continue for short distance to mini roundabout.
  • Go straight on, and the school is on your left, opposite Rodway Common.
