IAG  - Careers Education Information, Advice and Guidance

Good information, advice and guidance (IAG) helps young people make the right learning and career choices and enables them to find answers to the questions and issues which can arise in their personal lives.

 

The following web link will direct you to an IAG website developed by the Kingswood Partnership. The website contains information to help support students and parents in decisions relating to career planning, Post 16 choices, options in Year 9, course availability, apprenticeship and diploma information and much more.

Connexions

Mangotsfield School also has two dedicated Connexions Personal Advisors who are in the school on Mondays and Fridays to provide confidential and impartial Information, Advice and Guidance to students on an appointment and drop in basis.

Students can request a meeting with Connexions by filling in a request slip in the Learning Resource Centre or they can request through their Tutor, Head of Year or Miss Phillips in the Vocational Education office who will action on their behalf.
