Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to the new academic year at Mangotsfield School.  It has been a pleasure to once again welcome students and their parent/carers into Year 7.  We also welcome our new sixth form students.  I am pleased to report that all students have made a great return to school and the new students are already settling in well.

Exam Success

We offer congratulations to our students in Year 11 who achieved the best ever Mangotsfield results this year, continuing the improving trend of recent years....

Free Adult Education at Mangotsfield School

Adult Education at Mangotsfield

 

On Thursday 23 February 2012 South Gloucestershire Community Learning Service will be starting 15-week literacy and numeracy courses here at Mangotsfield School.

These courses have been very popular and successful in previous years and many have used the opportunity to gain additional qualifications.

The courses are aimed at people who do not have a GCSE in the subject at grade C or above. There will be an opportunity to take a National Test at level 1 or 2 in both literacy and maths.

More courses are planned for the Autumn.

 

Maths and Literacy

Both the Maths and Literacy courses (15 weeks long) will begin on Thursday 23 February 2012 and start at 6.30pm and finish at 8:30pm.  The courses are free.

ICT Course

A new ICT course will hopefully run in September 2012, please contact Teresa Howell on the number below to register interest.  The course will be for beginners.
