GCSE English/English Language Re-sits Nov 2012
If you were disappointed by your English or English Language GCSE grade and would like to re-sit the exam unit there is an opportunity to do so in November 2012.
The exam for unit 1 tier F and unit 1 tier H English and English Language has been confirmed for the afternoon of Wednesday 7th November.
This re-sit will be free and the deadline for entries is the 1st October 2012. If you wish to be entered for this exam please inform Mrs Bennett (Mangotsfield School Exams Officer) by 1st October.
Please note - we are assuming that the grade boundaries for this exam will be set at a similar level to those set in June and therefore students who decide to re-sit this exam will need to prepare themselves thoroughly especially if they are not currently attending English lessons.
We expect the results to be published in December .
