PRIMARY SCHOOL HOCKEY FESTIVAL

Year 11 pupils organised a Primary School Hockey Festival and this was held on 29 March 2006. Over 40 pupils from Tynings and Mangotsfield Primary Schools took part and had a great time! Thanks go to: Toni Curry, Ben Thompson, Ryan Hopton, Charlotte Priddle, Hannah Goodridge and Mitch Tippins for their hard work and excellent organisation of the day.

I would also like to thanks Alice Lewtas and Gemma Brimson for officiating and Mr. Thompson for giving up his time and acting as our First Aider for the afternoon.

The Hockey Festival will now become an annual event with more local primary schools taking part. New sporting events planned for next year include Festivals for football, Hi Five Netball and a Bocchia Festival.
