The Sixth Form is open to any pupil who can benefit from the courses offered and who will conform to the rules and standards set. The AS and A2 Levels are arranged in blocks, making possible many different subject combinations. Sixth Form provision is further enhanced by links with Kingswood Partnership Schools. In addition there are Advanced Vocational Certificates in Education, in Business and in Art & Design. Intermediate GNVQs are available in Business, Art and Design, Health and Social Care and ICT in Year 12. Students also complete a course leading to the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness.

Students’ abilities and career intentions are carefully considered with regard to available courses and jobs. Our virtual 100% success rate in both Higher Education and Employment is testimony to the high quality of guidance provided.

Over the years Sixth Formers have generated a great deal of enthusiasm for everything they do, such as fund-raising work for charity; helping in the Special Educational Needs Department; organising sports and accompanying Year 7 students on their residential stay.
