Mangotsfield Secondary

Welcome to Mangotsfield School.  Our shared vision is to inspire all students to love learning, to embrace challenge, to understand how to show and earn respect and how to contribute towards our community.  With this at the heart of their time with us, our students will leave with the best chances and choices for their futures.

We have built a curriculum which allows us to:

Plan engaging lessons to encourage a love of learning

We work closely with other schools within CSET to ensure that student progress is absolutely central through great teaching and engaged learning.  Committed teachers deliver a broad curriculum to develop students to have a love for learning and to find personalised success.

Establish positive relationships to maintain a respecting learning environment

Students are taught to respect and care for themselves, their school and their local environment.  We will care for them so that all students are able to achieve their best because they are in an environment where they feel safe and supported.

Students are challenged to do their best

Within our classrooms students are continually challenged through our ambitious, knowledge-rich and culturally-broad curriculum.  High expectations in the classroom and in independent home learning ensure each of our students receive an appropriate level of challenge and support.

Grow our community so that no student is left behind

Learning happens in and outside the classroom.  At Mangotsfield School we provide opportunities for personal growth through student leadership, student voice and trips.  Our aim is to prepare our students for life beyond the classroom through linking learning to our wider community.
